Over the past 12 years, this remarkable run has raised more than $2 million to support these heroes, making a real difference in their lives.
Participants can choose between a scenic 5k course, which is approximately 3.4 miles and offers some shaded areas, or the more challenging 10k route that features hills and stunning trail views. Both courses will be chip-timed, ensuring accurate race results, and all finishers will receive medals, with awards for top performers in various age categories. The event will take place at Solana Plaza, located at 1301 Solana Blvd, and parking will be available in the designated parking structure. Join us for a day of fun, fitness, and camaraderie as we honor and support our military heroes!

Organiser's Description
Military Heroes Run is celebrating our 13th Annual Run. We raise much needed funds to support America's fighting service veterans who have suffered injuries while defending the freedoms which we all enjoy. We have raised and donated over $2 million in our 12 years of hosting this event. Thank you to all who have run with us, volunteered with us and for our amazing sponsors. We are looking forward to another great year!

We are running in the Town of Westlake. Our event location is in the Solana Plaza and we will be running on the trail/path.

> PARKING: WE WILL USE A PARKING STRUCTURE (GARAGE B) AND THE SOUTH SIDE OF GARAGE B.

> There is NO parking at the event site, you need to park in the designated lot and walk across the street.

> THE TERRACE CAMPUS

THE 5K COURSE IS NOT CERTIFIED AND IS CLOSER TO 3.4 MILES.
The 5k course is a loop with some shade. The 10k course will follow the 5k until the 1 mile then branch off along the trail a different direction out and back, joining back with the 5k course. The 10k is hilly with some shade.
Chip-Timed Event
The 5k & 10k will be electronically timed by DoMore Race Services. All participants will be given a bib with a disposable chip attached.
Fun Run participants are not chip timed.

AGE GROUP AWARDS FOR EACH DISTANCE
There will be Overall M/F finishers, Master M/F finishers, and three deep for the 5K in the following age group categories for M/F:
9 and under, 10-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-80, 80+
(Master age is 40 and over)
