ON SATURDAY, MAY 16TH, 2026, THE DELAWARE FARM BUREAU FOUNDATION IS HOSTING THE 13TH ANNUAL MILK RUN/WALK AT RAMSEYS FARM IN WILMINGTON, DE. ALL NET PROCEEDS WILL GO TO THE MINISTRY OF CARINGS MILK FOR CHILDREN FUND, THE FOOD BANK OF DELAWARE BACKPACK PROGRAM, AND THE DELAWARE FARM BUREAU FOUNDATIONS EFFORTS TO ADVANCE AGRICULTURAL LITERACY.
THE MINISTRY OF CARING IN WILMINGTON SERVES ABOUT 500 NUTRITIOUS MEALS AT NO COST TO NEEDY AND HUNGRY MEN, WOMEN, AND CHILDREN DAILY, WITH MILK BEING JUST ONE OF THEIR OFFERINGS AT THE TABLE. THE FOOD BANK OF DELAWARES BACKPACK PROGRAM PROVIDES FOOD FOR AT-RISK CHILDREN ON THE WEEKENDS AND HOLIDAYS WHEN SCHOOL IS NOT IN SESSION.
