Get ready for a fun-filled day at the Miller Park Zoo Stampede on Saturday, March 1, 2025, in beautiful Bloomington, McLean! This exciting event kicks off the Lake Run Club (LRC) calendar and features a variety of race distances to suit everyone, including a 5K run, a 3K walk, and a delightful 1/4 mile Fun Run for children aged 10 and under. The course is USATF Certified and takes participants through the historic Miller Park area and the charming Miller Park Zoo.

Racers can check in on Friday, February 28, from 4-6 PM at the pavilion or on race day starting at 8:00 AM. The Children's Fun Run will begin at 9:30 AM, followed by the 5K and 3K races at 10:00 AM. After the races, join us on the second story of the pavilion for an unforgettable after-party featuring a fun animal encounter! Celebrate your achievements with awards for participation, best costume, and top finishers, along with delicious snacks and refreshments.
