This exciting event is designed for youth aged 4 to 14, offering a fantastic opportunity to participate in the Vermont City Two Mile and the Mini Marathon. The Vermont City Two Mile will kick off the festivities, inviting participants aged 9 to 14 to take on the challenge of a timed two-mile run, complete with awards for the top finishers. Meanwhile, the Mini Marathon features both Half-Mile and 1-Mile Fun Runs, ensuring there's something for everyone!
Not only will the first 400 Mini Marathon participants and the first 100 Vermont City Two Mile runners receive a stylish tie-dye cotton or technical wicking t-shirt, but they'll also be part of an unforgettable experience that celebrates youth, health, and community spirit. Join us for this exciting day of running and make lasting memories as we gear up for the M&T BANK VERMONT CITY MARATHON & RELAY!

Come join us for a fun-filled morning of running and excitement as RunVermont hosts the Vermont City Two Mile and the Mini Marathon at Waterfront Park in Burlington on Saturday, May 24, 2025. Youth ages 4 to 14 can come and share in the marathon excitement on the day prior to the M&T BANK VERMONT CITY MARATHON & RELAY [https://www.runvermont.org/vermont-city-marathon-relay/]. The Vermont City Two Mile will kick off the entire weekend of events and give youth ages 9 to 14 the opportunity to participate in a timed two mile run that will include awards for the top finishers (M/F/NB). Distances for the Mini Marathon include both the Half-Mile and 1-Mile Fun Runs. The first 400 Mini Marathon and first 100 Vermont City Two Mile participants to pick up their bibs will receive a t-shirt (tie dye cotton for Mini Marathon and technical wicking for Vermont City Two Mile). Sizes not guaranteed.
