This exciting event is designed for youth aged 4 to 14, offering a fantastic opportunity to participate in the Vermont City Two Mile and the Mini Marathon. The Vermont City Two Mile will kick off the festivities, inviting participants aged 9 to 14 to take on the challenge of a timed two-mile run, complete with awards for the top finishers. Meanwhile, the Mini Marathon features both Half-Mile and 1-Mile Fun Runs, ensuring there's something for everyone!
Not only will the first 400 Mini Marathon participants and the first 100 Vermont City Two Mile runners receive a stylish tie-dye cotton or technical wicking t-shirt, but they'll also be part of an unforgettable experience that celebrates youth, health, and community spirit. Come join us for a fun-filled morning of running and excitement as RunVermont hosts the Vermont City Two Mile and the Mini Marathon at Waterfront Park in Burlington on Saturday, May 24, 2025. Youth ages 4 to 14 can come and share in the marathon excitement on the day prior to the M&T BANK VERMONT CITY MARATHON & RELAY [https://www.runvermont.org/vermont-city-marathon-relay/]. The Vermont City Two Mile will kick off the entire weekend of events and give youth ages 9 to 14 the opportunity to participate in a timed two mile run that will include awards for the top finishers (M/F/NB). Distances for the Mini Marathon include both the Half-Mile and 1-Mile Fun Runs. The first 400 Mini Marathon and first 100 Vermont City Two Mile participants to pick up their bibs will receive a t-shirt (tie dye cotton for Mini Marathon and technical wicking for Vermont City Two Mile). Sizes not guaranteed.
