Organiser's Description

NEW VENUE AND FORMAT IN 2025! Increasing traffic and other events at the university forced us to look at other options. It's look early in May for a swim so we are changing from a triathlon to a duathlon at Lake Pueblo State Park - Kestrel Pond area (formerly called Rock Canyon Swim Beach)

MINI MORTALS TRIATHLON (MMT) is a youth duathlon following the ORDINARY MORTALS RACE [https://runsignup.com/Race/CO/Pueblo/OrdinaryMortalsTriathlon]and distances are based on the age of participant on 12/31 of this year. For example an 8-year old child turning 9 at any point during the calendar year will compete in the 9-11 year age group and distance:

* 5-8 YEARS: 0.6 mile run, 1.8 mile bike, 0.6 mile run. One parent may escort on course.
* 9-11 YEARS: 1.2 mile run, 4 mile bike, 0.6 mile run
* 12-15 YEARS: 1.8 mile run, 6 mile bike, 1.2 mile run

This event often attracts several families of two or three generations racing together the same day! We are offering a _Multi-generational discount _to families that compete on May 10th. Also check out the adult triathlon - the _ORDINARY MORTALS DUATHLON [https://runsignup.com/Race/CO/Pueblo/OrdinaryMortalsTriathlon]_for parents and grandparents!
