Join us for the uplifting Mission 22 5K Run, 1K Walk, and Kids Color Run on Saturday, May 24th, 2025, at Shadow Pines Park in Penfield, Monroe County, NY. This vibrant event, taking place at 600 Whalen Road, features a scenic course that winds through grass and paved paths on the former golf course, making it perfect for participants of all ages and abilities. Whether you choose to run, walk, or cheer on your loved ones, your participation helps support our veterans in memory of SFC Donaldson.
The day kicks off with registration and T-shirt pickup from 7:00 to 8:00 AM, followed by a heartfelt opening ceremony at 8:10 AM, featuring representatives from the Monroe County Veterans Outreach Center, American Legion, and other local organizations. The 5K run and 1K walk start at 8:22 AM, with timing and results managed by Webscorer. Don't miss the colorful fun of the Kids Color Run at 9:22 AM and the awards ceremony at 10:00 AM, where the top three finishers in each age category will be recognized. Mission 22 5K and 1kWalk at Shadow Pines Park in Penfield, NY. Sanctioned by U.S.A.T.F. Course is grass and some paved paths on old golf course. Much of it follows cart paths.
