The Mistletoe Run is not just about the race; it's a community celebration filled with bounce houses, delicious food trucks, local vendors, and spirited cheerleaders, making it a family-friendly occasion for everyone to enjoy.
The USATF sanctioned course begins and ends at the William G White Jr Family YMCA, winding through the beautiful Buena Vista neighborhood and showcasing stunning sights like the Graylyn International Conference Center and Reynolda Gardens. Every participant will receive a race shirt, and those completing the 5K and Half Marathon will be awarded a Finisher Medal, while Fun Run participants will earn a Finisher ribbon. Best of all, your participation supports vital YMCA programs, ensuring that every child in the community has access to healthy and active opportunities. Kick off the holiday season with our YMCA's largest annual fundraiser, The Mistletoe Run! The Mistletoe Run is a family friendly and community centered event. In addition to our Half Marathon, 5K and 1 mile Fun Run courses, we also have bounce houses, food trucks, vendors, community mascots, local cheerleaders, athletes, donuts at the Finish Line and more. Every participant receives a race shirt, our 5K and Half Marathoners will receive a Finisher Medal, and our Fun Run participants will receive a Finisher ribbon at the end of their race.

The Mistletoe Run is a USATF sanctioned course and begins and ends at the William G White Jr Family YMCA [https://ymcanwnc.org/locations/william-g-white-jr-family-ymca] in downtown Winston-Salem, NC. Our 5K runners travel through Winston-Salems beautiful Buena Vista neighborhood, while the half marathon course will continue through the Graylyn International Conference Center, Reynolda House and Gardens, through Reynolda Village, onto Wake Forest Universitys campus, then circle back around to the Y.
OUR CAUSE
At the YMCA, we believe every child deserves a healthy & active life. We are proud to share that all race proceeds benefit the young people in our community by providing funding for YMCA swim lessons, summer camp, youth sports, before & after school care, teen memberships & more. Our programs build self-confidence, friendships & community while also teaching our young people how to live healthier lives.
