Join us for the first-ever Monster Dash 5K, organized by the American Cancer Society, on Saturday, October 26, 2024, in Scranton, Lackawanna. This spooky-themed event encourages participants of all ages to run in their Halloween costumes and support a great cause. The race will take place on the Lackawanna River Heritage Trail, starting at the Olive St. Trailhead at 9 AM. Runners may encounter scary monsters and ghouls along the way to keep them motivated. Awards will be given for the top 3 finishers and best costumes. Register and pick up your packet between 8-8:45 AM at the Scranton Half Marathon Pavilion. Don't miss out on this fun-filled and charitable event!
Organiser's Description
Join us for our inaugural Monster Dash 5K! This run is benefitting the American Cancer Society. We encourage participants to dress up in the spirit of Halloween and run for a great cause. While running the trail they may be met with some of scary monsters and ghouls to help them keep up their pace. This is an all ages run and awards will be given for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place along with best costumes.
