The festivities kick off at 8:30 AM with the Kids 1k, where families are encouraged to walk or run alongside their children. Make sure to arrive by 8:15 AM! At 9:00 AM, the 5k begins, welcoming all walkers and runners—friendly dogs are invited too! Whether you're racing or cheering from the sidelines, there's plenty to enjoy, including delicious food trucks, great music from DJ Roy, and the opportunity to meet adoptable dogs from North Mecklenburg Animal Rescue. Lace up your sneakers, gather your friends and family, and come be part of this uplifting event that embodies the spirit of Carolina Strong!

OUR 5K IS MORE THAN A RUN - IT'S A CHANCE FOR OUR COMMUNITY TO COME TOGETHER AND SUPPORT THOSE IMPACTED BY THE DEVASTATING HURRICANE HELENE THAT STRUCK THE NORTH CAROLINA MOUNTAINS.
