This exciting event will take place in the heart of Montgomery, featuring thrilling competitive runs on USATF certified courses. Participants can choose between an 8K and a 2-mile run/walk, both of which will showcase the beautiful historic downtown Montgomery and its charming neighborhoods, culminating in a fantastic downhill finish to Old Alabama Town.
Join fellow runners from across the River Region, Alabama, and beyond as you support a great cause—the Alabama Sheriffs Youth Ranches—while enjoying a day filled with excitement and camaraderie. With chip timing, well-marked courses, and various awards for different age groups, this is an event not to be missed! Don't forget to pick up your race packet on May 16th or race day morning, and be sure to register by May 9th to guarantee your event shirt. 46TH RUNNING OF MONTGOMERY'S JUBILEE RUN.
Come join the excitement of Montgomerys longest standing competitive running event! Montgomery Jubilee Runs are now set for May 17th, 2025. This iconic Montgomery event features competitive runs/walk on 8K and 2-Mile USATF certified courses.
The River Region Runners' Club is proud to plan, organize, and host the 2025 Montgomery Jubilee Run in its 46th year. This year's event will raise funds for the Alabama Sheriffs Youth Ranches. The runs will be staged from historic Old Alabama Town.
The 8K running event attracts runners from all over the River Region, Alabama, and beyond! In addition to the 8K, there will be a 2-mile run/walk in honor of Peggy McLendon Lanier.
RACE INFORMATION:
COURSES: The USATF (AL19019JE [https://certifiedroadraces.com/certificate/?type=l&id=AL19019JE] and AL19026JE [https://certifiedroadraces.com/certificate/?type=l&id=AL19026JE]) certified courses will be well marked. The 8K (map [https://www.plotaroute.com/route/762336]) and 2M (map [https://www.plotaroute.com/route/762523]) go through historic downtown Montgomery and the surrounding neighborhoods with an exhilarating downhill finish to Old Alabama Town!
AID STATIONS: Water stations will be located along the courses.
TRAFFIC: Traffic control will be provided by the Montgomery Police Department.
CHIP TIMING: The 8K and 2-Mile runs/walk are chip timed events. All awards are based on race gun time per USATF Rule 245.1.

RACE PACKETS:
Race packets will not be mailed. They will be available for pick-up May 16th (3 - 6 p.m.) at Old Alabama Town (301 Columbus Street) and on race day, May 17th, from 6:00 a.m. until 7:15 a.m. Only late packet pick-up on the day of the race for registered runners. Packets will contain your official race number and Jubilee Run shirts.
RACE NUMBERS:
Race numbers must be worn visibly on the front of the runner for the duration of the race. Failure to do so can result in disqualification.
RESULTS:
Race results will be posted as soon as available on the RunSignUp Jubilee Run website, Montgomery Jubilee Run Facebook page, and riverregiontiming.com [https://riverregiontiming.com/]. Individual results will also be sent to your cellphone/email if you selected that option when you registered.
NOTICES:
SHIRT NOTICE: To be guaranteed an event shirt, you must pre-register online or with mail-in registration form by 5/9/25. Runners who sign up at packet pick-up or on race day are not guaranteed a shirt. Any leftover shirts available at packet pick-up will be offered on a first come first served basis.
CANCELLATION STATEMENT: This event will occur rain or shine. The Jubilee Runs reserve the right to cancel in extreme circumstances. In the event of cancellation, there will be no refunds.
