Challenge yourself with goals of 50,000 steps for the walking challenge, 16 miles for the running challenge, or 23 miles for the biking challenge. You can also set your own distance and participate in multiple challenges!

2023 VIRTUAL CHALLENGE ENRICHES THE LIVES OF WOMEN AND FAMILIES
The Lauren Rose Albert Foundation is an all-volunteer 501(c) 3 non-profit organization dedicated to helping women and families facing difficult challenges. Founded in 2001 to honor the memory of a young mother of three, the LRAF has touched the lives of thousands of women through our signature Mothers Matter program and Womens Education and Emergency Assistance Grants. Proceeds from the 2023 VIrtual Challenge directly support the Lauren Rose Albert Foundation Grant and Mothers Matter programs.

As we enter year 24 of this wonderful journey, we look forward to enriching our mission to encourage women to achieve educationally and economically with our exciting new collaboration with the I Dare to Care Association (ID2C). Our 2023 Mothers Matter Virtual Challenge celebrates our collaboration with I Dare to Care and congratulates this inspiring Camden based non-profit on 16 years of providing mentorship and support services to girls and their families.
Our collaboration merges the LRAF Womens Education and Emergency Assistance and Mothers Matter programs with the ID2C Mission to equip and empower women to become vibrant, vital, and valuable members of their community. Our initial goal is a two-year pilot program to provide grant opportunities in the allied health entry level training and certification programs
In addition to I Dare to Care, the LRAF will be working with the Jeanette Rankin Foundation to help women 35 and older complete their college education as well as continuing long-time affiliations such as People in Transition to serve as a lifeline for women with emergency financial needs and nowhere else to turn for help and of course continuing to brighten lives with our distinctive Mothers Matter gift bags.
