Get ready for an exhilarating outdoor adventure at the Mount Helena Run on Saturday, September 20, 2025! This 9k (5.6 mile) trail race promises a thrilling experience as you tackle 1,300 feet of elevation gain and loss, featuring a mix of approximately 1.5 miles on roads and over 4 miles on stunning single track trails. Participants will have the unique opportunity to challenge themselves while soaking in breathtaking views of Helena, Prickly Pear Valley, and the majestic Elkhorn and Big Belt Mountains.

Join fellow running enthusiasts for this 49th annual classic as you race up to the iconic Mount Helena and then sprint back down towards historic Last Chance Gulch in the heart of downtown Helena. Don’t forget to pick up your race packet between 9:00 am and 10:00 am before the race starts at Birds & Beaselys on the Walking Mall. Remember to register before September 1 for a reduced race fee.
