Join us for the Moving Beyond Abuse 5K Race & Charity Walk on Saturday, October 11, 2025, at the picturesque Johnson Park - Grove 4 in Piscataway, Middlesex. This inspiring event features a USATF-certified 5K flat course for runners and an optional one-mile Charity Walk for those who prefer a shorter distance or simply want to support this vital cause. The occasion is not only about running and walking but also about bringing communities together to uplift survivors of abuse and their families.
This year, we are excited to welcome leashed furry companions as part of our family-friendly atmosphere, allowing participants to enjoy the day with their beloved pets. All proceeds from the event will benefit Women Aware, helping to provide shelter and resources for those moving beyond abuse. Don’t miss the chance to register in advance and save $10, with children 11 and under participating for free! The first 100 registrants will receive a swag bag filled with goodies, and there will be a live performance by Goldenseal the Band, along with a fun fall photo booth. So mark your calendars and get ready for a day filled with hope, community spirit, and positive change!

THIS IS A USATF-CERTIFIED 5K FLAT COURSE. For those who wish to run/walk a shorter course or simply support Women Aware by attending, there is an optional one-mile Charity Walk. Registration covers either option. Teams are encouraged to sign-up to run/walk together. All event proceeds benefit survivors and families moving beyond abuse through Women Aware.

STARTING POINT: OFF RIVER ROADPARKING AND RACE ENTRANCE IS VIOLET DRIVE.
PARKING IS ON YOUR RIGHT OF PARK ENTRANCE. THE START LINE IS BY KIOSK/RESTROOMS.
