THIS IS A USATF-CERTIFIED 5K FLAT COURSE. For those who wish to run/walk a shorter course or simply support Women Aware by attending, there is an optional one-mile Charity Walk. Registration covers either option. Teams are encouraged to sign-up to run/walk together. All event proceeds benefit survivors and families moving beyond abuse through Women Aware.

The worry of leaving a beloved pet behind to escape abuse is a big reason some victim-survivors choose not to seek shelter. We want to change that by transitioning to a pet friendly shelter. Help Women Aware keep survivors and their beloved companion safe and together.

DOGS ARE WELCOME TO WALK WITH THEIR OWNERS DURING THE 1-MILE CHARITY WALK, BUT WILL NOT BE PERMITTED ON THE 5K COURSE DURING THE RACE FOR THE SAFETY OF ALL PARTICIPANTS.
