Get ready for an exhilarating day of running at the MTC Legacy Trail Run on Sunday, November 24, 2024, in beautiful Sarasota, Florida! This exciting event features the Legacy Trail Ultra, a FREE 60K Ultramarathon that takes you on a stunning out-and-back course along the picturesque Legacy Trail. Starting bright and early at 7 AM from Payne Park, runners will make their way to the Venice Train Depot and back, with a generous 10-hour time limit to complete the distance. For those looking for a team experience, there are limited relay spots available for two-person teams, each tackling half of the course (18.6 miles).
Participants can look forward to an unforgettable running experience with limited aid stations and no road closures, allowing for a safe and enjoyable journey. Don't forget to grab your long-sleeved hoodie race shirt and medal, with all proceeds benefiting All Faiths Food Bank. Packet pickup will be available on November 23rd from 3 to 5 PM at Fleet Feet Sarasota or on race morning starting at 6 AM. LEGACY TRAIL ULTRA 60K
The Legacy Trail Ultra is a FREE 60K Ultramarathon, sponsored by the Manasota Track Club, that runs the Legacy trail. This is an out and back course that starts at Payne Park, Sarasota, to the Venice Train Depot and back. There will be no road closings and limited aid stations.
We will be offering a limited number of relay spots for this event. Two person teams, each running one half of the course (18.6 miles). Runners will trade spots at the Venice Train Depot.
