Organiser's Description
Join us as we kick off the 2024 college football season on Saturday, August 31, at Onondaga Lake Park @ 10am for the 2nd Annual My Team 5K to benefit our friends at David's Refuge. This event will coincide with the first game of the season for Syracuse University Orange as they take on the Ohio U. at 3:30pm at the Dome.
All participants will receive a high quality custom football and finisher medal. We have a post run "tailgate" party at Cobblestone Pub as well.
All participants are encouraged to wear their favorite teams shirts (College or Pro) for this event. You are welcome to be as creative as you would like to be with your running apparel. We will not only be offering awards for the running competition (Top finishers/Age Groups) but also for the best, wildest and most creative "team" outfits.
The 5K will take place at the Willow Bay Saw Mill Creek shelter.
