The 5K kicks off at 9 AM, with registration running from 8 to 8:30 AM at the Blue Toad Hard Cider, located at 462 Winery Lane. Participants can register for just $20, which includes a free t-shirt if you sign up by November 1st. Don’t worry if you miss the deadline; shirts will also be available for purchase on race day. Feel free to bring your furry friends along, as dogs are welcome on the course! In the event of rain, the race will be rescheduled for Sunday, November 17th. SUPPORT A 5K FUNDRAISER FOR THE FIRST RESPONDERS OF NELSON COUNTY!
About: First 5K where all the proceeds benefit the Firefighters and EMS responders in Nelson County. In Nelson, 7 out of the 9 first responder agencies are completely volunteer based. The 5K takes place on a flat, forested course that is smack-dab in the middle of the Blue Ridge Mountains.
When: The race starts at 9 AM ON SATURDAY, NOVEMBER 16TH.
Registration: 8-8:30 AM
Where: BLUE TOAD HARD CIDER, 462 Winery Lane, Roseland, Virginia 22967
Registration Fee: The race is $20 PER RUNNER AND INCLUDES A FREE T-SHIRT IF YOU REGISTER BY NOVEMBER 1ST. If you miss the November 1st deadline, no worries! Shirts are available for purchase the day-of the race.
