In addition to the 5K run, the event will feature a Health and Wellness Fair at Fair Park, offering valuable resources such as blood drives, diabetes screenings, blood pressure checks, and COVID vaccinations. For those who prefer to run at their own pace, a virtual race option is available, complete with monitoring through RaceJoy, ensuring that everyone can be part of this inspiring initiative. Let's come together to support education and make a positive impact on our community—because every step counts!

THE NORTHEAST MS ALCORN STATE 5K RUN FOR SCHOLARS' MISSION IS TO RAISE FUNDS TO PROVIDE SCHOLARSHIPS FOR STUDENTS FROM NORTHEAST MS TO ATTEND ALCORN STATE UNIVERSITY. YOUR SUPPORT WILL ENSURE THESE STUDENTS WILL HAVE THE ADDITIONAL FUNDS NEEDED TO ATTEND COLLEGE.
MANY OF THESE STUDENTS ARE FIRST GENERATION STUDENTS ENTERING COLLEGE AND WILL NEED AS MUCH SUPPORT FROM YOU AS POSSIBLE. LETS MAKE IT HAPPEN!
IN ADDITION, THERE WILL BE A HEALTH AND WELLNESS FAIR HELD IN CONJUNCTION WITH 5K RUN AT FAIR PARK. WE INTEND TO HAVE THE FOLLOWING 1. BLOOD DRIVE, 2. DIABETES, BLOOD PRESSURE AND CHOLESTEROL SCREENING, 3. COVID SCREENING AND VACCINATIONS.
