Austin State Park in San Felipe, just west of Houston.
Runners of all levels are invited to enjoy the wide, mainly gravel and dirt trails that offer a perfect mix of fun and challenge, featuring a few quick elevation changes. Participants can choose from various race distances, ensuring there's something for everyone. As this is a cupless race, it's essential to bring your own hydration device, and both a light and hydration device are mandatory for safety. The course will be well-marked with reflectors and ribbons, guiding you through the picturesque trails as the sun sets at 7:30 PM. The group dining hall will serve as the heart of the event, hosting packet pickup, the start/finish line, and a lively spectator area. So gather your friends, don your favorite costumes, and prepare for an adventurous night run under the stars at the Night Moves Trail Races!

Organiser's Description
This is our nighttime party trail run just West of Houston at Stephen F. Austin State Park!
The trails are wide and mainly gravel/dirt with a few quick elevation changes but a great trail run for beginners to advanced.
All runners will need both a light and hydration device as mandatory equipment. The trail will be marked with reflectors and ribbons. We are a cupless race so you must carry your own bottle/flask.
Follow park instructions for parking along the right side of the park road, starting at the group dining hall event area and filling back from there.
The group dining hall is where all the action happens; packet pickup, start/finish, spectator hang-out lawn with runners personal area, and our main aid station. A second water refill will be available at halfway at the road crossing.
Extra lights and costumes are encouraged! Sunset is at 7:30 PM.

OPENS 01 AUGKids 12 and under enter the park for free and are welcome to do our FREE kids mile on the trails. Every kid will receive a participation award. The shirt is not included but is an optional add-on. Parents/guardians are welcome to join on the run or let 'em loose on the trails, parent volunteers around the course are encouraged. Course/distance will be updated closer to the event but will be one mile or less.TROT looks forward to bringing more youth opportunities to our events.
