Northwestern Trojan Turkey Trot

Meet Information
The Northwestern Turkey Trot is a fundraiser to benefit The Trojan Club. The Trojan Club supports hundreds of student-athletes in all sports at Northwestern High School in Rock Hill, SC.
Race Description and Location
Both the 5K and the 1 Mile Fun Run will be held on Northwestern High School’s Cross Country Course. The 1 Mile Fun Run will cover the first mile of the course. The course is run primarily on grass and covers parts of the ATC, Northwestern, and Rawlinson Road Middle School.
The address for Northwestern High School is 2503 W Main St, Rock Hill, SC 29732. Turn into the entrance at the stoplight between The ATC and Northwestern High School. Follow the entrance road to the end and turn right into the parking lot to park. Follow the covered walkway behind Northwestern to the start line. Packet pickup will be in the rear of the school near the start/finish line. See course and facility map below.

The 5K race (all ages welcome) will be chip timed and results will be posted on RunSignUp after the event. Top 3 males and top 3 females will receive awards. The overall male and female winners names will be included on a plaque that will be displayed in the Athletic Office.
Age group awards will be given to the top 3 in the following categories for the 5K: 12 and under, 13-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-99.
All finishers of the kids 1 mile fun run (12 and under) will receive a medal. Parents wishing to accompany their kids on the fun run do not need to pay the registration fee. You may run with your child for free. 
Start time for the 5k is at 9:30am. We will have a water station on the course were runners can access water just past the mile and about the 1.75 mile point. 
Start time for the fun run is at 9:00am
Race Day Expo
We will provide some snacks and water for after the race. In addition, several of our sponsors and vendors will have booths set up in the expo area near the finish line. The Charlotte Running Company, Mizuno, Brooks, Altra, and Saucony will have booths along with Orange Theory Fitness, Nutrition Time, and Elite Air & Heat. Please be sure to visit with them and support our local businesses.  
T-Shirts
5K runners that register by November 6th will receive a t-shirt. Runners that register after that date will receive a shirt while supplies last. We cannot guarantee a t-shirt to runners that register after the November 6th deadline. 
Registration Information
Online registration ends on Thursday November 17th. Race day registration will take place from 8:00am-8:45am.
Packet pickup and late/race day registration
Early packet pickup and late registration will take place at the Charlotte Running Company in Riverwalk on Friday November 18th from 2:30pm until 6:30pm. 
Race day registration and packet pickup will take place from 8am to 8:45am.
We can accept credit card, cash or check for registrations taking place on the morning of the race and cash or check on the Friday before the race.

Canned Food Drive
We are collecting food for the Pilgrims Inn in Rock Hill. Please bring non perishable canned food items so we can help give back to the community.
