This exciting open water race features a challenging course that takes swimmers from the South 5 Tower north to Atlantic Avenue and back, offering a fantastic opportunity to showcase your skills in the beautiful ocean waters.
Participants can compete in a variety of divisions, including Men’s and Women’s categories for ages 14 and under up to 70+, with 13 age divisions in 5-year increments. Each age group will have the chance to earn medals for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place finishes, making it an event filled with competitive spirit and camaraderie. Plus, enjoy free parking at Anchor Park and Sandoway Park until 10:00 a.m., and after the swim, indulge in refreshing snacks provided for all competitors. Join us for a day of fun, fitness, and unforgettable memories at the Ocean Mile Swim!

Checks Payable to: United States Lifesaving Association (USLA) Delray Beach Ocean Rescue
Divisions: Men’s and Women’s 14 & under to 70+ and 13 age divisions in 5-year increments
Awards: 1st, 2nd, 3rd Medals - all age groups
Parking: Free parking with parking pass at Anchor Park & Sandoway Park until 10:00 a.m. You must pay the meters if you park along A1A.
Refreshments: There will be a variety of refreshments for competitors after the race.
Open Water Swim Warning: Ocean Swimming is a dangerous activity which may result in bodily injury up to and including death.
Ocean lifeguard staff will be on hand guarding the event.
