Join us for the 10th Annual Freedom 5K on Thursday, July 4th, 2024, in the picturesque setting of Veterans Memorial Park, Berlin, Worcester. This family-friendly event invites participants to lace up their running shoes and don their best star-spangled costumes for a day filled with fun and fitness. The race kicks off at 8 AM, with packet pickup and race day registration starting at 7:15 AM. Runners can register for just $30 until July 3rd, with a $35 fee on race day, so be sure to sign up early to guarantee your shirt size!
After the race, stick around for an exciting day of festivities hosted by the Ocean Pines Recreation & Parks Department. From 4 PM to 8:45 PM, enjoy a vibrant atmosphere with DJ Rupe spinning great tunes, carnival games, bounce houses, and plenty of delicious food. The celebrations culminate with a spectacular fireworks display at 9 PM, lighting up the night sky over South Gate Pond. Don’t miss this unforgettable Independence Day celebration that combines community spirit, fitness, and festive fun!

The Ocean Pines Recreation & Parks Department will host a day of fun at the Veterans Memorial site from 4 pm - 845pm. DJ Rupe playing great music, Carnival Games, Bounce Houses, Dry Slides, and lots of food and fun!
The fireworks will be in the same location starting at 9:00 pm. Beautiful location, Flying high above the South Gate Pond.
The fee for the carnival wristband of fun is $15 per participant for 4 1/2 hours of fun!!!!
** T-shirts are guaranteed for pre-registered participants. Sizes not guaranteed for DAY OF Registration.
