Get ready to lace up your running shoes for the Ocean Running Club's Pine Beach 5K & 1 Mile Run and 5K RUCK on Sunday, June 28, 2026! This exciting event will take place in the picturesque beachside town of Pine Beach, offering participants a fast and mostly flat road course perfect for runners of all levels. The day kicks off at 6:45 am at Vista Park, where you can check in and get ready for an exhilarating morning of fitness and community spirit.
Participants can choose between a 1 Mile run, a 5K run/walk, or take on the challenge of the 5K RUCK. Each 5K participant will receive a stylish race t-shirt (while supplies last), and there are fantastic awards for the top finishers, including overall male and female winners, as well as age group awards. Plus, if you sign up before February 14th, you'll benefit from a limited-time discount, and Ocean Running Club members can enjoy an additional $5 off their registration! Registration is available online until race morning. ( Race morning is through credit card on Run Sign UP only! NO CASH)
Beginning at 6:45 am at Vista Park you can check in. It is easiest if you show your RunSignUp registration on your phone.
1 Mile participants will receive their finish time through Run Sign Up. There are finisher awards and overall male/female, but not for age group.
There will be a LIMITED TIME DISCOUNT TO SIGN UP BEFORE FEB 14TH!
If you are paid member of Ocean Running Club prior to registering, you will receive $5.00 off of your selected race. ( You can follow the link to register for ORC and sign up on Run Sign Up too.)
5k Run/Walk/Ruck includes a t-shirt that will be available to you at packet pickup! IF REGISTERING AFter June 11th, race shirts are not guaranteed. A limited quantity of shirts will be available race day. NO SIZE EXCHANGES.
OCEAN RUNNING CLUB RACE BUNDLE - Sign up for the Pine Beach 5K and the Seaside Half Marathon/5K (Sunday, October 4th) as a bundle and save 15%!
5k Run - Awards will be given to Top 3 Male/Female overall and top 3 Male/Female in 5 year age groups. Results will be posted as they become available and will send to your email through Run Sign Up. Awards will be available for pick up as results are posted. You do not need to wait until the end of the race ; )
We will again have a RUCK division. To compete there is a 10lb weight for less than 150lb participant and 20lb weight for above 150lb with awards for the first male and first female finishers and GO RUCK patches for all finishers. If you choose to wear a lesser weight you can still participate, you will not have the option to receive first M/F.
There will be 2 official water stops and water at the finish line.
Bathroom facilities (port-o-johns) will be available in the park, but NOT along the course.
Bibs and shirts can be picked up the morning of the race at the event, beginning at 6:45 am. If there are any changes, registrants will be emailed listing those changes.
Refer 5 friends and get a $10 refund!! When you register, your confirmation email will have a custom link for you to share with your friends. When 5 friends use your link and sign up for the race you automatically get a $10 refund. Share the fun and save some cash!
