The 9th Annual Ocean State Rhode Races in Narragansett, RI will be held on Sunday October 27, 2024. Race weekend features a Marathon, Half Marathon and 5k Race.
The Marathon will start at 7:30 am, the Half Marathon will start at 8:00 AM and the 5k at 8:15 am, all on Sunday
This boutique Rhode Island marathon will showcase what is great about the Ocean State. Not only does the course feature classic Rhode Island beauty, our post-race festival will include an authentic RI experience at iconic Narragansett Town Beach. For runners and by runners, the event offers direct access to the race directors who promise timely communication and personal touches throughout your race experience. In the event that the weather is severe enough to create an unsafe environment for participants, organizers will cancel the event with no refunds issued.

ARE THERE ID REQUIREMENTS OR AN AGE LIMIT TO ENTER THE EVENT?
There are no age restrictions but you must show your ID when picking up your bib.
WHAT ARE MY TRANSPORT/PARKING OPTIONS FOR GETTING TO THE EVENT?
The race starts at the North Beach pavilion but free parking is available at the South and West parking lots as well as local streets throughout town.
CAN I TRANSFER OR DEFER MY RACE REGISTRATION?
Yes - you can transfer your bib, transfer your race entry to select other races in our portfolio within one year, or defer your entry to next year's race. Transfer and deferral requests must be received before October 23, 2024. The course is a stunning mix of beautiful farms, coastal homes, old rock walls and tree-lined, back roads. The race runs past ocean views, river walks, kayak stands and fishing holes. Race day starts at famous Narragansett Town Beach, winding through beautiful US 1A before descending into gorgeous Bonnet Shores. The race rejoins US 1A, following working farms and picturesque waterways before heading back to the finish at the Town Beach. The race is truly quintessential Rhode Island. The course is USATF certified and is a Boston Marathon Qualifier. -
