This dynamic event invites OHS and CMS Choir students to set their own walking or running distance goals while seeking sponsorship from family and friends to raise critical funds for the OHS Choir Boosters.
With a target of over $6,000, the initiative aims to enhance the choir experience for students in grades 7 through 12, funding receptions, parties, awards, and music conferences. Each participating student is encouraged to raise at least $50, and those who do will be entered into weekly drawings for gift cards, with additional grand prizes for the top fundraisers! Organiser's Description
OHS and CMS Choir students will compete to raise money for the OHS Choir Boosters, which helps support all 7th - 12th grade Okemos choirs through receptions, parties, awards, music conferences, and much more possible!
Students will set a walking/running distance goal and then ask donors to sponsor them in reaching their goals. We hope to raise over $6,000, (which can be achieved if EACH STUDENT RAISES AT LEAST $50). There will be weekly drawings to give away three $10 gift cards for those students who raise at least $50! The top 10 students who raise the most money will be entered into a drawing to win one of 3 grand prizes, bonus money for your student fund!
