Join us for the 15th annual Oklahoma Fallen Heroes event on Saturday, September 19, 2026, in the heart of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. This inspiring occasion celebrates the lives and sacrifices of the nineteen brave individuals who made the ultimate sacrifice since September 11, 2001. Participants can choose from a variety of race distances, including a challenging Half Marathon, a spirited 10K, or a fun 5K run/walk, all taking place along the scenic OKC river trail.
As you navigate the 13.1-mile course, you will encounter heartfelt tributes to each of the twenty fallen heroes, with recognition starting at the Starting Line and continuing at each mile marker. Each mile will feature a banner that honors one of these warriors, complete with a photo and a brief biography highlighting their extraordinary contributions. Come be part of this meaningful event that not only promotes fitness and community spirit but also pays homage to those who served and sacrificed for our freedom. Organiser's Description
We will be hosting the 15th annual Half Marathon, 10k and 5k run/walk in recognition and remembrance of the nineteen brothers and one sister from its ranks who made the ultimate sacrifice since September 11, 2001. The race course is located in Oklahoma City, OK, at the OKC river trail, to facilitate a larger participant population. The twenty fallen heroes will be honored individually with recognition beginning at the Starting Line, then at each mile marker along the 13.1-mile course, and finally at the finish line. A banner will be placed at each of the 15 points highlighting one of the warriors with a photo and brief bio detailing their lives and sacrifices. _*THIS IS NOT A SANCTIONED RACE.*_
