Get ready for the 2nd Annual Omaha Costco Marathon on Saturday, December 13th, 2025! This unique event will take place in Omaha, Douglas, and promises an unforgettable 26.2-mile journey connecting three beloved Costco locations. Kicking off at the Costco off 120/Dodge, participants will navigate city streets and scenic public trails, linking the La Vista, Maple, and Dodge warehouses in a fun and vibrant atmosphere. Whether you're aiming for a personal record, soaking in the good vibes, or just in it for the delicious post-race Kirkland hot dog, this marathon is all about enjoyment and community spirit.
While registration is free, donations are encouraged to support aid stations stocked with water, Gatorade, hand warmers, and, of course, Costco snacks. Runners of all paces are welcome, with groups expected to range from 3:30 to 5:00 marathon finishes. Keep in mind, there will be no course marking, so be sure to familiarize yourself with the route beforehand. Join us for a fun run like no other, where endurance meets everyday value, and let's celebrate the joy of running together!

Join on SATURDAY, DECEMBER 13TH for the most unique 26.2 miles Omaha has to offer. The Costco Marathon connects the citys three beloved Costco locations in one unforgettable route. Starting at the Costco off 120/Dodge, runners wind their way through town using city streets and public trails to link together the La Vista, Maple, and Dodge warehouses like a giant membership card swipe across the map. Whether youre chasing a personal best, running for the vibes, or just in it for the post-race Kirkland hot dog, the Costco Marathon delivers. Join for a race where endurance meets everyday value.
Registration is free, but donations are highly encouraged, as the funds will be used to purchase water, Gatorade, hand warmers, and Costco snacks for our aid stations.
You are free to run at whatever pace you would like; there will likely be groups running at various speeds, ranging from 3:30 to 5:00 marathons. THERE WILL BE NO COURSE MARKING, AND SO I HIGHLY ENCOURAGE YOU TO FAMILIARIZE YOURSELF WITH THE ROUTE AND DOWNLOAD IT ONTO YOUR WATCH/PHONE IN CASE YOU GET SEPARATED FROM OTHER RUNNERS!

Plan to meet on the west side of Costco, in the parking lot adjacent to Tommys Express Car Wash. We will start gathering at 6:00 AM and start promptly at 7:00 AM.
**This is absolutely NOT put on by a professional race company.** This is meant to be a fun run, and the idea was cultivated by a couple of runners here in Omaha, who love Costco and also don't mind doing crazy/stupid things when it comes to running. There will not be any official timing, awards, or race swag, which you might find at a sanctioned race. It is more or less a large, organized group run with everything Costco :)
