TIME SLOTS MUCH BE RESERVED FOR EACH SESSION, but you may only do so AFTER registering.  No registration = no reservation.  No reservation = no swim.  Any swims that are not paid for in advance will be invoiced at $20 per session.

Join our open water training sessions for fitness, for a triathlon, an open water swim, or any other competition.  No prior OW experience is necessary, but swimmers must be confident in their ability to swim a 200-300 meter course without assistance.  All swimmers must wear a bright colored swim cap or a New Wave Swim Buoy.  NWSB is mandatory for anyone who has never completed a 300 yard open water loop without stopping.  We generally have buoys available for sale on site.
Multiple sessions are held each week.  Our current schedule is as follows:
Tuesday/Thursday 5-7PM.Saturday 10AM- Noon (April and October) ***For April and October sessions, we must confirm at least 8 swimmers to hold each session***
8AM-Noon (May 4 - Sep 28). 
Sunday 10AM-Noon (May 5 - Sep 22)
Practice times may vary on holidays, due to weather conditions, etc.  Check out the most accurate water conditions at this location here. Directions to Norristown Location:GPS Address to the parking lot is: 1400 S. Trooper Rd., Norristown, PA 19403From Trooper Rd. exit of 422, head toward the Betzwood trailhead on Trooper Rd.  Make a left at the T to go under 422.  Make another left to the parking lot on your right.  Walk the short paved path to the starting point (toward the river).  We are approximately 300 yards downstream from the 422 bridge.
Season passes are cheaper than buying single session passes.Cost per session: $15 ($20 if not pre-paid)Unlimited Swims: $275 (as little as $2 per swim)No cash payments are being accepted in 2024.
All sales final.  NO REFUNDS.  Anyone who cant participate in a particular session may defer that session to another workout in the same season, but not to the following season or into another event.
