WE HOPE TO SEE YOU IN MAY 2025 - WE ARE STILL WORKING OUT A DATE WITH THE UNIVERSITY.

WE WILL BE LOOKING FOR CLUBS, TEAMS AND GROUPS WILLING TO WORK A SECTION OF THE RACE FOR A $150-300 DONATION TO YOUR COMMUNITY GROUP OR CAUSE. THIS RACE HAS ALWAYS BEEN ABOUT BUILDING COMMUNITY AND WE WANT TO INVITE THE COMMUNITY TO JOIN US AND SUPPORT YOUR LOCAL MISSION. CHECK OUT THE VOLUNTEER TAB FOR MORE DETAILS.

ORDINARY MORTALS TRIATHLON (OMT) IS A REVERSE ORDER SPRINT DISTANCE (5 KM RUN, 12.5-MILE BIKE, 300-YARD POOL SWIM) TRIATHLON FOR ALL US "ORDINARY MORTALS" - FROM THE FIRST TIME TRIATHLETE TO MORE COMPETITIVE TRIATHLETES ON A FUN AND CHALLENGING COURSE.

    Starts with mass 5-km run start at 9:00 am if 200 people registered. If more than 200 people register, men will start 5-km at 9:00 am and women will start at 9:03 am. Then 12.5-mile bike to airport and back and then 300 yard serpentine swim across all six pool lanes. This is a USAT sanctioned triathlon requiring a USAT one-day license ($15) or annual membership ($50). If one-day license purchased for this event, the fee can be applied later to an annual membership. You may renew your USAT membership here and it will add the 12 months to your existing membership. Age group awards will be in 5-year age groups for male and female up to 80+.
  • Sprint Triathlon-2 Person Relay

    Starts with mass 5-km run start followed by 12.5-mile bike to airport and back and then? 2021 might be 1 mile run to finish (2021 concerns with indoor pool swim - 300-yard serpentine pool swim across all 6 lanes). The two-person relay may hand off the ankle timing band ONE time before entering transition. One team member completes two legs of the race in a row and other team member does the run or swim (example A run/bike hands off to B to swim OR A runs hand off to B to bike/swim) We do not need to know how you will split the event but realize there is only one hand-off. This is a USAT sanctioned triathlon requiring a USAT one-day license ($15) or annual membership ($50) for each participant. If one-day license purchased for this event, the fee can be applied later to an annual membership. You may renew your USAT membership here and it will add the 12 months to your existing membership. Awards for the top overall 3 relay teams will be recognized.
