This beloved local tradition invites participants of all ages to honor our veterans while enjoying a fun-filled day of running and walking. The event features two race distances: a challenging 5-mile run starting at 9 AM, and a more relaxed 5K run/walk kicking off at 9:15 AM. Both races will begin and conclude on Anderson Street, right next to the Children's Park parking lot.
Participants can look forward to receiving a commemorative event dog tag upon finishing, and those who register by May 5th are guaranteed a stylish event shirt. For convenience, day-of check-in starts at 8 AM, with registration and packet pickup also available on Sunday, May 24th, from noon to 4 PM at Hanson's Running Shop. A virtual category is offered for those wishing to support the event from afar. All proceeds will contribute to the long-term sustainability of the Orion Veteran's Memorial, making this event not only a chance to run but also an opportunity to give back to the community. THIS YEAR'S EVENT WILL START/FINISH ON ANDERSON STREET ADJACENT TO THE CHILDREN'S PARK PARKING LOT.
EACH PARTICIPANT TO RECEIVE AN EVENT DOG TAG AT THE FINISH.
