Join us for the 9th Annual Orion Veterans Memorial Day Run on Monday, May 26, 2025, in the beautiful Lake Orion, Oakland! This exciting local tradition invites runners and walkers of all ages to participate in a meaningful event that honors our veterans. The day kicks off with a 5-mile race at 9 AM, followed by a 5K run/walk at 9:15 AM, both starting and finishing on Anderson Street, adjacent to the Children's Park parking lot.
Participants will receive a special event dog tag upon completion, and those who register by May 5th are guaranteed an event shirt. For those not able to attend in person, a virtual category is also available, allowing everyone to support this wonderful cause. Day-of registration starts at 8 AM, but be sure to register early to avoid any price increases! Proceeds from the event will help ensure the long-term sustainability of the Orion Veteran's Memorial, making this a truly impactful way to celebrate Memorial Day. Don't miss out on this uplifting community event!

THIS YEAR'S EVENT WILL START/FINISH ON ANDERSON STREET ADJACENT TO THE CHILDREN'S PARK PARKING LOT.
EACH PARTICIPANT TO RECEIVE AN EVENT DOG TAG AT THE FINISH.
DAY OF CHECK IN WILL TAKE PLACE NEAR THE START/FINISH STARTING AT 8 AM. 5 MILE WILL BEGIN AT 9 AM AND THE 5K RUN/WALK WILL START AT 9:15 AM.
REGISTRATION AND PACKET PICKUP AVAILABLE SUNDAY, MAY 25TH FROM NOON UNTIL 4 PM AT HANSON'S RUNNING SHOP ON THE CORNER OF FLINT AND BROADWAY.
