Each registered participant will receive a commemorative item, a delicious pancake breakfast, and a custom race bib. Plus, 21+ participants can enjoy a free beer at Two22 Brewery post-race! With awards for top finishers in various age divisions, this event is about celebrating achievements and making memories. Don’t forget to grab your post-race day pass for continued access to the beautiful reservoir, and consider bringing a personal watercraft for some extra fun on the water. 5K Event Fee: Starts at $40* (plus processing fee)
Price increase on June 6 and on event-day.
Celebrate Dad in stride at the best Dam Race in Town: The Parker Parks and Recreation Dash Across the Dam 5K, presented in partnership with RNK Running & Walking! Gather family and friends and head to the stunning Rueter-Hess Reservoir for a 3.1-mile adventure thats equal parts challenge, celebration, and community fun.
Whether youre running for a personal record, walking with friends, or racing alongside Dad, this scenic course offers unbeatable views and an unforgettable way to kick off Fathers Day weekend.
Registered 5K participants receive a commemorative item (REGISTER BY JUNE 7 TO GUARANTEE ITEM), a delicious pancake breakfast, and custom race bib. Participants 21+ can redeem a free beer at Two22 Brewery with race bib up to one week after the race. Commemorative Finisher Medals are available for PURCHASE as an "add-on" during registration until JUNE 12.
Extend your stay with a free and convenient post-race day pass (per car), available as an add-on during registration. This pass offers continued access to the premises on race day. The day passes are provided by the car thus, spectators, families and runners traveling together may all participate but once you leave the premises you will not be able to re-enter.
_NEW THIS YEAR,_ participants who elect post-race day pass may bring a personal watercraft that must undergo an inspection before going in the water. Rentals will also be available through Surf'SUP rentals. To ensure your post-race stay at the reservoir, remember to add the day pass to your registration and note use of personal watercraft.
The overall male/female finishers, as well as the top three male/female finishers in each of the following divisions of the 5K will be awarded: 12 and under, 13-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69 and 70+.
_This event is held rain, snow or shine. NO REFUNDS WILL BE ISSUED. Any proceeds from the event will benefit the Town of Parker Scholarship Program, which helps Parker families and/or individuals with limited financial resources participate in Town Recreation programs and facilities. _
PACKET PICKUP: Friday June 19, 3-7pm at RNK Running and Walking. Event-day packet pickup will open at race site starting at 7 a.m.
