Participants can choose between a 5K run/walk and a 5-mile run, making it an inclusive event for all fitness levels.
This year, proceeds will benefit vital pediatric cancer research at the U of M C.S. Mott Children's Hospital, as well as support local families who have shown incredible resilience. Over the past 17 years, the Passion for Life organization has raised more than $250,000 for medical research and community support, showcasing the power of unity and compassion. Don’t miss the packet pickup and shirt distribution on Friday, March 14th, from 6:00-8:00 PM at Walled Lake Central High School. Join us in downtown Walled Lake for a memorable week of community spirit and hope!

The Passion for Life 5K Run/Walk & 5 Mile Run brings the community together in the healthy exercise of running/walking while raising money for medical research at U of M C. S. Mott Childrens Hospitals and local families. This year, our proceeds will benefit Pediatric Cancer at U of M C. S. This event is a Run Only and begins promptly at 10am. Start line is on Witherall St and participants will run around entire Walled Lake ending on Witherall St. -
Passion for Life 5K Run/Walk

This event is a Walk or Run. It will begin at 10:15am (15 minutes after the 5 Mile starts). Start line is on Witherall St. and participants will alongside Walled Lake for the entire route to Monticello St where the turnaround occurs and head back to Witherall St. -

Complete a 5k anywhere from 3/08/25 to 3/15/25. This is an honor code system and it is meant as a pledge to participate in the event if you are live far away, for example, but would still like to donate to our cause. Please note that there are no awards for this alternative race, however you will still have packet pickup/T-shirt on Friday, 3/14 from 6:00pm-8:00pm.
