The 5th Annual Paul Anderson Memorial 5k/10k Run will be held at Hart Park in Section 2 near the Southeast Entrance of the park. This shady spot is a familiar start/finish area for many runs held at Hart Park. This event is in remembrance of our friend Paul Anderson (Andy Noise). Paul was a great friend, coach, and supporter to all in the running community in Bakersfield and beyond. His family is proud to support this event and we are hopeful to facilitate his continued inspiration and empower others to be great! Proceeds from the event will go to the Paul Anderson Memorial Scholarship Fund which will aid Kern High School runners with college expenses. We thank you for supporting our event and we hope your training is going well. Consistency is the key, in the words of Andy Noise, "Be boring, not Epic..."
