Join us for the Paul Elmstrand Memorial 5K Run/Walk, a community event dedicated to honoring Paul's memory. Paul was serving as a police officer with Burnsville PD on February 18, 2024 when he, along with fellow officer Matthew Ruge and Firefighter/Paramedic Adam Finseth, tragically lost their lives.
This event, also part of the Bluejacket All School Reunion day, brings together family, friends, and supporters to celebrate Paul's life, legacy, and impact he had on all who knew him. Whether youre an avid runner or someone who prefers to stroll, all fitness levels are welcome to participate in this event. Paul graduated from Cambridge-Isanti High School in 2015 and was a part of the school's cross country team. Family and friends felt a great way to celebrate Paul's life would be through an event incorporating an activity he loved. Proceeds from the event will support a scholarship in Paul's memory started by the Elmstrand family and the Invisible Wounds Project, ensuring that Pauls legacy continues to live on and help others.
