Start your day with a refreshing walk in the park alongside your beloved pets, followed by a plethora of family-friendly activities including a lively pirate-themed dog parade, a day-long Adopt-A-Thon, and a variety of tasty food trucks.
The festivities kick off at 10:00 AM with music by DJ Tino Rossi, leading up to the Wiggle Waggle Walkathon at 10:30 AM. The park opens to the public at 11:30 AM, where you can enjoy live performances, local vendors, and exciting attractions like a bouncy house and dunk booth. Don’t miss out on the fun, laughter, and the chance to give back to the community—fundraising is encouraged, and you can easily set up your own social media fundraiser! Bring your lawn chair, gather your family and friends, and get ready for a fantastic day celebrating our four-legged companions!

Paws in the Park is a fun-filled day brought to you by the Staffworks Fund! Wiggle Waggle on over with your dog or walk one of ours at the New Hartford Sherrill Brook Park for a day of supporting the fur babies at Anitas Stevens Swan Humane Society!
Kick off the day by joining a brisk walk around the park! The excitement doesnt stop there - enjoy a lineup of family activities including a pirate-themed dog parade, a daylong Adopt-A-Thon, delicious food trucks, local & pet-themed vendors, and an atmosphere full of happy tails and live music.
FUNDRAISING IS VOLUNTARY BUT _HIGHLY ENCOURAGED! _YOU CAN EASILY BECOME A SOCIAL MEDIA FUNDRAISER. PLEASE SEE THE "DONATE" TAB TO SET UP YOUR INDIVIDUAL FUNDRAISER! OR, IF YOU PREFER TO "SPONSOR" A WALKER, YOU CAN SEARCH AND SELECT FROM THE "PARTICIPANTS" LIST AND GO FROM THERE.

All Pets on a leash (no choke chains, retractable leashes, or spike collars please) You must bring proof of certificate or rabies vaccination (not the tag) All donations must be turned in with the pledge sheet All people attending the walkathon must register Please keep the park clean (pick up bags available) DONOR DOGS * ASSHS Donor dogs are adoptable * Donor dogs are available on a first-come, first-served basis. * Bring photo ID. You must be 18+ yrs of age to walk a donor dog. * Person signing for dog agrees to be the ONLY to walk the dog. * You must be registered to walk a donor dog. **Bring a copy of the registration with you or on your phone. -
