This vibrant event kicks off in front of the McKissick Center on Hwy 93 and promises to be a night of fun and community spirit. Runners and walkers of all ages are invited to participate in this exciting timed race, which begins at 7:30 PM.
Before the race, don your most creative glow attire for a chance to win in the "Glow Attire Contest" at 7:00 PM. Awards will be presented to the top three male and female finishers across three age categories: 15 and under, 16 to 29, and 30 and over. After crossing the finish line, indulge in delicious Pelicano Pizza and join the after-party at No Vacancy on Commerce Street. This event not only promises a fantastic time but also supports a worthy cause, as proceeds help the Pickens County Meals on Wheels organization continue its mission to ensure no senior is left hungry or isolated. Join us for a night of fitness, fun, and community connection!

PICKENS COUNTY MEALS ON WHEELS IS EXCITED TO BE HOSTING OUR 9TH ANNUAL 5K GLOW RUN. THE RACE WILL TAKE PLACE IN FRONT OF THE MCKISSICK CENTER ON HWY 93 AND END AT THE REAR OF OUR BUILDING ON EDGEMONT AVENUE. WE WILL BE HOLDING A "GLOW ATTIRE CONTEST" AT 7:00PM WHERE PARTICIPANTS ARE ENCOURAGED TO BE CREATIVE WITH THEIR GLOW ATTIRE. AWARDS WILL BE GIVEN TO FIRST AND SECOND PLACE.
_THE TIMED RACE WILL BEGIN AT 7:30_ AND WE WELCOME RUNNERS AND WALKERS TO JOIN IN ON THE FESTIVITIES THIS YEAR.

WITH THE HELP OF 500 VOLUNTEERS, WE DELIVER 450 MEALS DAILY, ENSURING OUR AGING NEIGHBORS REMAIN INDEPENDENT AND CONNECTED. IN 2025 ALONE, WE WILL SERVE 600 SENIORS AND PROVIDE OVER 80,000 MEALS. OUR BUDGET RELIES ON FUNDRAISING AND DONATIONS TO HELP US CONTINUE TO PROVIDE MEALS AND A FRIENDLY SAFETY CHECK TO OUR HOMEBOUND SENIORS.
