Participants will enjoy a scenic 5K run through the beautiful park, and everyone is encouraged to join in, whether you’re running, walking, or bringing along your children and pets. Finishers will receive medals to celebrate their accomplishment, and the atmosphere will be filled with positivity and encouragement.

The Cullen Pavilion
(The Pavilion is located in The Commons near parking lot T & S off Cambridge St. and Fannin St.)
BIB PICK UP WILL TAKE PLACE THE DAY OF BEGINNING AT 7:30AM. FINISHER MEDALS WILL BE PRESENTED TO ALL PARTICIPANTS AT THE END OF THE RACE.
While this is a race, walkers are welcome. Children, strollers, and pets (as long as they are on a leash) are welcome as well. The goal is to just steward the temple you have been blessed with and GET MOVING! WE WILL NOT HAVE TIMING CHIPS, PLEASE DOWNLOAD ANY RUNNING APP STRAVA, NIKE RUN CLUB, FITBIT, SMARTWATCH)
_As I have intentionally journeyed with Christ the last few years I have found myself loving myself more because of the way He first loves me. Loving yourself for me has turned into a passion for the things of my creator Christ Jesus. I am living proof that He restores and makes all things new in our lives IF we let him. Pillow's Joyful Journey 5K shows just how this walk with Christ is. We start off Joyful in our salvation and along the journey to the finish line we go through moments of uncertainty and wanting to quit and many other negative experiences yet, He takes joy in those moments. The joy of The Lord has formed to be my strength. This has pushed me to run towards him and finish the race He sets before me. That is what has ignited my passion in stewarding my temple and what has transcended into a passion for running to flourish and pour over into the Iives of others. Pillows Joyful Journey 5K was placed on my heart to encourage and remind those wherever they are in life to count it all joy because it is a journey but you must choose for it to be a joyful one and continue to run towards God with endurance!_
