Organiser's Description
Welcome to the first annual Pink Spike XC Festival. Following the success of the Pink Spike Track & Field Festival, we wanted to build onto the project. With an ultimate mission of empowering young women and girls in South Carolina, we've created a space for girls to push themselves in an event that prioritizes them. In our world, women dominate the game. We'll see you at the starting line! Each participant will receive a commemorative medal to celebrate this event (while supplies last)!
Following Hurricane Helene, clean up efforts of the Catawba Trail have been underway. Unfortunately, we were informed by our contacts at the Catawba Indian Nation that they are unable to complete the work needed in time for our event. Due to this, we have made the decision to shift into a virtual race, giving participants an opportunity to run anytime, anywhere.
If you've needed motivation to run and a community to support you, we're here for you! That's the whole point of Pink Spike, women supporting women! Thank you for your understanding.
