Join us for the vibrant Pink & Teal Challenge from May 7th to May 9th, 2027, in Rochester, Monroe! This exciting annual event invites participants to walk or run in-person or virtually, with the in-person festivities taking place at Monroe Community College on Saturday, May 8th. This year features a fun 5K run, alongside a women's-only 5K, fostering a spirit of community and support for those affected by breast and gynecologic cancers.
The event kicks off with a lively warm-up at 9:00 AM, followed by the Women's 5K Run at 9:20 AM, the Family Fun 5K Run at 9:25 AM, and a walk at 9:30 AM, with options for a 3.1-mile or a shorter 2-mile course. Kids aged 7 and under can participate for free! Don't forget to bring your creativity for the costume contest, where prizes await for the best individual and team costumes. Virtual participants can complete their runs anytime between May 8th and May 10th, making this a flexible and inclusive event for everyone. PAST PARTICIPANTS HAVE BEEN ASKING, AND WE ARE NOW LISTENING!
A BREAST OR GYNECOLOGIC CANCER DIAGNOSIS IMPACTS _ENTIRE_ FAMILIES AND SUPPORT SYSTEMS. COMING TOGETHER TO SUPPORT ONE'S MOTHER, SISTER, AUNT, GRANDMOTHER, WIFE, DEAR FRIEND, ETC, IS A BIG REASON THIS EVENT EXISTS. IN PARTICULAR, SONS HAVE OFTEN ASKED TO RUN WITH THEIR MOMS. ATTENTION IN-PERSON PARTICIPANTS! TAKE PART IN OUR COSTUME CONTEST! PRIZES WILL BE GIVEN OUT FOR BEST INDIVIDUAL AND BEST TEAM COSTUME(S)! GRAB YOUR BOAS, TUTUS, ETC. AND JOIN THE FUN!
ANY RUNNER REGISTERING BETWEEN MAY 5TH-7TH WILL HAVE TO WAIT 24 HOURS AFTER REGISTERING TO RECEIVE THEIR CHIPPED BIB.
Virtual participants may complete their event anytime between 5pm on Friday, May 8th and midnight on Sunday, May 10th.
VIRTUAL 5k Run participants' times will not be considered for their specific age brackets as we are unable to corroborate time and distance. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause, and will gladly switch your registration to the in-person 5k by request.

There will be NO event day registration for this event, so please plan accordingly.
