Although the race is currently facing challenges due to the impact of Hurricane Helene on the park, we remain hopeful for a fantastic event. SFTC members are encouraged to bring their favorite dishes to share with the other participants, making this not just a race, but a celebration of camaraderie and community spirit. THE RACE, PIONEER 5 MILES RUN HAS BEEN CANCELED BECAUSE THE PARK WAS DESTROYED FROM HURRICANE HELENE.
USATF-certified course starting and finishing in David Crockett Birthplace State Park [http://www.tennessee.gov/environment/parks/DavyCrockettSHP/]. Part of the TN State Parks Running tour. The race is owned and managed by the State of Franklin Track Club. It is part of SFTC's 2024 King & Queen Competition series. SFTC members please bring your favorite food to share with the other runners. THERE WILL BE NO REFUNDS
