Join us for the exhilarating Port Austin Run and Walk on Saturday, July 25, 2026, in the beautiful town of Port Austin, Huron. This family-friendly event features three exciting race distances: an 8K run, a 2-mile run, and a 2-mile walk, making it perfect for participants of all ages and fitness levels. The races kick off at 8:30 a.m. at Gallup Park, located just off M-25, where you can enjoy the scenic course that combines both village streets and rural roads.
This special event is dedicated to the memory of Donald M. Cook, a heroic Vietnam veteran, with proceeds benefiting the Blue Star Mothers Thumb Chapter 178 and VFW Post 116. Come out to honor his legacy while enjoying a day filled with camaraderie, fun, and prizes! Registration is open from 7:30 a.m. to 8:00 a.m., and be sure to arrive early to secure your spot. After the races, refreshments will be available at the pavilion, and results will be professionally timed and posted shortly after the event.
