Join us for the exhilarating Prough Response 5K on Saturday, October 19, 2024, in beautiful Alexandria, Huntingdon! This exciting event, organized in collaboration with the Juniata Valley Cross Country team, promises a fantastic day of running and community spirit, all while raising funds to support local veterans and first responders.
Participants can take on the challenge of the 5K run, set on the scenic Juniata Valley Cross Country course, or enjoy a more leisurely pace with the timed 2-mile walk, which covers the first two miles of the same route. Young athletes can also get in on the fun with a 1/4 Fun Run designed just for kids! Awards will be given to the top three male and female runners, as well as by age bracket, making this a competitive yet inclusive event for everyone. Registration begins at 7:30 a.m., and while day-of registration is available, we encourage early sign-ups to secure your event shirt. Don’t miss this chance to make a difference while enjoying a day of fitness and fun!

The Juniata Valley Cross Country team along with Prough Response have teamed up bring you what will be a fun and exciting race. Together we hope to raise money for support of local veterans and first responders in our community.
* 5k Run and 2 Mile walk will be timed. (Timing provided by Juniata Valley) 5k Run will consist of the Juniata Valley Cross Country course. The 2 Mile walk will consist of the first 2 miles of the course.
* 1/4 Fun Run will available for kids
Awards for Top 3 Male and Female Runners. There will also be awards by age bracket.
* Sign In will start at 730 a.m. and end at 845 a.m.
* Day of registration will be allowed but will be cash or check only.
