**January 23rd is the last day to register for a guaranteed t-shirt and bandana! You can still join us, but we may not have extra swag.**
Join us for the 2nd annual Puppy Love 5K!
Join the Pack for a 5K run or walk with and for your best four-legged friends.
This race is 100% dog friendly for all well socialized pups on a leash. We do ask that any owners running with dogs be prepared with a pick up bag to attend to any unscheduled potty breaks on the course.
You can run with a dog or without. Limit one dog per handler. 1 runner + 1 dog = $45. Minimum age for a runner with a dog is 12 years old. Kids 10 and under run free, but must be accompanied by an adult and do not receive race swag and are not officially timed.
There will be awards for the top 3 male and female finishers with a dog, as well as:
* Best Dog in pajamas
* Best Dog/Owner in pajamas
* Best Group in pajamas
* Best Overall pajama theme
* Doggy Dash winner
All prizes sponsored by Dolittles Pet Shop.
After the race, stick around for an owner/dog 100 yard Dash Race!
New this year--be sure to check out the tennis ball field, stick crossing and squirrel overlook!
The race will take place on Saturday, February 8th at 9:00am at the beautiful Palmetto Island Park in Mount Pleasant. Free park entry and parking is available in the park with your race entry.
All participants will receive a race t-shirt and matching bandana for their puppy love.
