The Annual PV Schools Community 5K Fun Run will be held on January 31, 2026 at Horizon High School. Our goal is to raise awareness and encourage district employees, their families, and the community they serve, to live a healthy, active lifestyle. *You must be at the event to receive your t-shirt*
Join us in making the 16TH YEAR the best year yet!
PLEASE REMEMBER TO CHOOSE A SCHOOL/SITE WHEN YOU REGISTER. EACH RACE PARTICIPANT NEEDS TO BE ASSIGNED TO A SCHOOL/SITE SO THAT LOCATION HAS A CHANCE TO WIN!!
NO REFUNDS WILL BE ISSUED. Runners/walkers will not be allowed to start more than 5 minutes past the start time of 9:15 for safety and contractual reasons, so please be on time as we want you to participate!
T-shirts will be provided the day of the event to our registered participants in sizes S to XXL as well as a limited number of youth sizes. Please be certain to indicate your T-shirt size on your registration form, and register by January 16, 2026 to guarantee a race t-shirt. *You must attend the event to receive your t-shirt*
Water and healthy snacks will be available before and after the race.
This event is chip-timed by Race Timers and results will be posted on PVUSD's website.
Please note there is a small online registration fee charged by RunSignup. We have kept our registration fees flat for the past several years to help offset the small fee charged to register online. Thank you!

COURSE INFORMATION
Runners will exit the Horizon HS football field south at the back gate and head east on Nisbet Rd up to Greenway Rd. Runners/Walkers will proceed down 64th St to Acoma then up 56th St back to Nisbet to renter and finish on the field. There are 2 aid stations on the course: One is on 64th St just south of Greenway. The other is at the elementary school on Acoma near 60th Street.

We welcome spectators to cheer on our runners!
Furry friends/pets will not be allowed in the event or on the field/premises for safety reasons.

Kids 10 and under are FREE with parental supervision. Please make certain to register your under 10 participants so they can select a T-shirt size and have their parent or guardian sign the waiver. FREE dash events for kids 10 and under will be held BEFORE the race.
