Get ready for an exhilarating outdoor adventure at the Quitcherbitchen Trail Run, taking place on Saturday, August 1, 2026, in the stunning landscapes of Phipps Park, just west of Billings, Yellowstone. This event is designed for all levels of runners and walkers, featuring four exciting race distances: 2 miles, 4 miles, 6 miles, and the challenging 8-mile course. Whether you’re a seasoned trail runner or a first-timer, you’ll find a course that suits your skills and fitness level.
Participants will be greeted with well-marked trails and enthusiastic volunteers to guide them along the way. Plus, there’s a chance to win cash prizes! Those who conquer the “Beast” and ring the “Oh Hell Bell!” will receive $20, with additional awards for the top finishers in each category. With race start times staggered throughout the morning, there’s plenty of opportunity to join in the fun. Don’t forget to bring your own hydration pack or water bottle since it’s a no-paper cup event aimed at protecting the environment. QUITCHERBITCHEN' TRAIL RUN is for all levels of runners and walkers! Come test your skills on the trails of Phipps Park west of Billings. The 4, 6 & 8 mile courses will have your heart pumping and legs screaming...and you'll finish with an amazing sense of personal pride. The 2 mile course is no cake walk but perfect for first time participants who have limited trail running experience. All the courses are well marked and have plenty of helpful volunteers to keep you on track!

Walkers are welcome and will start in the last wave of either the 4mi or 6mi race (sorry no walkers in the 8mi race). THERE WILL BE 1 WATER/AID STATIONS along the course - HOWEVER THIS IS A NO-PAPER CUP EVENT in order to help protect the environment. PLEASE BRING YOUR OWN HYDRATION PACK OR WATER BOTTLE.
