Runners will enjoy a scenic course along the beautiful Maria Ygnacio Creek and Obern Bike Paths, where vehicle traffic is non-existent, allowing participants to focus on their performance and the stunning views. The 10K kicks off at 9:00 AM, followed closely by the 5K at 9:10 AM, and the Kid's 1-mile run at 10:15 AM. With water stations spaced at every 1.5 miles and a celebratory awards ceremony at 10:30 AM, this event promises a fantastic experience for everyone involved. Organiser's Description
Rabbit Run is a flat and fast course along a dedicated run/bike path. The course runs along the beautiful Maria Ygnacio Creek and Obern Bike Paths which are paved with no vehicle traffic. Free parking is available along Gwyne Ave. Packet Pickup is located near the Start Line (865 Gwyne Ave, Santa Barbara) from 7-9 AM on race morning. The 10K starts at 9:00 AM, 5K at 9:10 AM, and the Kid's 1-mile (Family Fun Run, non-competitive) at 10:15 AM. Water Stations will be placed at approximately every 1.5 mile mark. There will be plenty of "nutrition" after the race. The Awards Ceremony is also near the Start Line at 10:30AM. Awards are issued to the top 3 runners in both the Men's and Women's categories for all Age Groups in 5-year increments for both the 5K and 10K.
