Join us for the Race for A Cause Veteran's Day 5K run and 1-mile walk on Saturday, November 9, 2024, in the charming town of Okarche, Kingfisher! This uplifting charity event aims to raise awareness and support for a critical issue affecting our veterans, as we partner with Mission 22 to combat veteran suicide. Every day, we lose 22 heroes, and together, we can make a difference.
The day kicks off at 9 AM, where participants can enjoy coffee and snacks before the races begin. The 5K run will start at 10 AM, followed by the 1-mile walk at 10:05 AM. Every participant will receive a commemorative t-shirt, and those running the 5K will also earn a medal to celebrate their achievement. Nortek Air Solutions in Okarche is proud to host and sponsor our third Race For A Cause Charity Event. Please come out and help make November's race the most successful one yet!
Every day, we lose 22 veterans to suicide.
Nortek Air Solutions is proud to partner with Mission 22 for our next event. Mission 22 is a non-profit organization that helps veterans and their families when they need it most: right now. This organization was founded by veterans over a decade ago, and provides programs and assistance to veterans and their families.
All participants will receive a commemorative t-shirt and the 5k participants will also receive a medal.
Doors will open at 9am. Start and finish line will be indoors and we will have coffee and snacks for for participants and their families.
5k event will start at 10am, and the 1 mile walk event will begin at 10:05.
