Join Connected Roots Care Center (CRCC) at this years Race for Big Dreams a celebration of community, courage, and compassion. The event brings together families, friends, and supporters for a day of fun and purpose, while raising essential funds for the specialized care and inclusive education CRCC provides to more than 600 children and young adults each year.
Founded in 2022 in partnership with Lisa and Lonny Sund in memory of their son and former CRCC student JJ, the Race for Big Dreams includes an untimed 5K and a half-mile fun walk, open to participants of all ages and abilities. A highlight of the event is the Lap of Champions, when CRCC clients and families take center stagecheered on in a moment of joy, unity, and celebration.

This event is perfect for families! Enjoy a leisurely Saturday morning stroll as a family. The half-mile path is wheelchair accessible. Strollers welcome.
