The Race for Border Justice 5K offers a fast course for competitive runners & a pleasant walk for supporters of our mission: to raise funds for the National Immigrant Justice Center. The accurately measured 5K course departs from the parade grounds at the Ft. Bayard Historic District near Santa Clara, New Mexico. The mostly flat course--familiar to those who ran the old Ft. Bayard Wilderness Run--combines trail and road, with a fast asphalt finish on Officers Row. Count on following a well-marked course staffed by friendly volunteers--& since this is our first annual Race for Border Justice, race winners can count on setting a course record as well.
