RACE REASON
Race for the Ribbon is a 5k run/walk hosted by five Gannon University Doctor of Physical Therapy students to raise money to donate to Linked by Pink. Linked by Pink is an organization in Erie PA which supports individuals who have been diagnosed with breast cancer with many aspects of their lives including finances, mental health, and so much more.
COURSE
This race takes place at Harborcreek Community Park in Harborcreek, PA on September 14th 2024 at 9:00 am. Runners and walkers of all ages and abilities are welcome!
REGISTRATION
Race day registrations are accepted at $25. A t-shirt will be included if registration is received by August 24th. This event will be timed using RaceDay Mobile Timing. Parking is available at the large Firman Road parking lot. Registration and packet pick up begins at 8:00 am near the concession stand and restrooms with the race beginning promptly at 9:00 am. Water and healthy snacks will be provided for runners and walkers prior to and following their race.
AWARDS
Awards will be given to the top three male and top three female finishers. You will be racing for the ribbon through different terrains including blacktop, grass, and hiking trails so come prepared with the appropriate attire! Please come out to support the Gannon University students in raising money for an excellent cause!
