Registration opens on Friday, February 27, with a chance to pick up race packets from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the airport. Day-of registration will be available starting at 4:15 PM. With race fees starting at just $20 for kids and $40 for adults if registered by February 6, this is an event you won’t want to miss! The Rotary Club of Flagler Beach is proud to present our 16th Anniversary Race of the Runways at the Flagler Executive Airport. This is a unique evening 5K where participants run or walk along illuminated airport runways under the searchlight of a circling helicopter. Join us Saturday evening, February 28, 2026 at 5:30 PM.
Participants are encouraged to add to the fun by wearing glow-in-the-dark clothing and accessories. Light-up costumes are encouraged and prizes will be awarded for the best costumes. Please, no glow sticks.

Whether walking or running, participants will be timed and scored with a disposable chip attached to their numbered Bib.
